Adrianna Wkitoria Kowalik
Adrianna Wiktoria Kowalik is the lead curator and coordinator of Secondary Archive at the Katarzyna Kozyra Foundation. Her research focuses on engaged art in Central and Eastern Europe, with particular emphasis on Poland, Belarus, and Ukraine, as well as on the relationships between art, politics, and the archive.
She holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and continues her research and curatorial practice within the framework of Secondary Archive. She has presented at the international conference Resilience Through Culture in Brussels, where she introduced the research and archival project Secondary Archive: Women Artists in War, documenting the work of Ukrainian women artists creating directly from the context of the war front.
