The Foundation had the pleasure to launch an art project by Katarzyna Kozyra for the Polish Film Institute (PISF) on its 10th anniversary.
The project consists of 16 unique onyx statuettes that make up a sculpture resembling a movie screen. All elements put together form an inscription cast in coloured resin that reads “PISF”. The project has been carried out by Italian masters from the Carrara region following Katarzyna Kozyra’s original conception and under her supervision. The statuettes with inscriptions were made on the 10th anniversary of the Polish Film Institute, and were given to the following persons and institutions: Marek Belka, Jacek Bromski, Waldemar Dąbrowski, Kazimierz Kutz, Maciej Strzembosz, Kazimierz Michał Ujazdowski, Bogdan Zdrojewski, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Canal +, Cinema City Poland sp. z o.o., ITI Group, Polsat sp. z o.o., Telewizja Polska SA.
